Remember a few weeks ago when I bought a used exercise bike from the North Carolina state surplus?

Sold on Craigslist for $125. Not bad I paid $10 for it and $5 to my friend in Raleigh who did the paperwork for me ( you have to mail the money to Raleigh or pay in person. I was going to Raleigh from Boone and didn’t want to keep the bike in my dorm).

So profit.

The plan is to reinvest the $125 in the Surplus and eventually get to a point where I can buy and sell surplus cars.

Mounting it in the truck bed like that really adds to the realism when you are peddling along and doing 65.

As if I could hit 65.

This guy not only hit it, he took it home

If he can do it, you can do it. Believe in yourself

It takes a while. I when I drive to Raleigh it’s a good 2000 foot elevation drop so I normally hit terminal velocity going home and keep it for the rest of the 150 miles.

Traffic really hurts my momentum.
